Come see Essex transform into the Halloween capital of the Adirondacks as our Town Hall morphs into a terrifying haunted house and a street carnival takes over Main Street.

This event is a collaboration between Essex Initiatives and the Town of Essex. Reach out or follow along for updates here:
The Haunted Town Hall will open its doors from 4–8pm (it's FREE)! The first hour is scare-free (no actors will jump out, but the lights will be off!)
The Main Street Carnival will be partying from 4–8pm. Enjoy s'mores around the campfire, win prizes playing carnival games, browse the wares of some special spooky vendors, and monster mash to spooky dance tunes!
Kid's activities begin at 2:30 pm, including Pumpkin painting and a Halloween Hunt (all ages).
Haunted Hayride Tours around town will terrify and delight with a retelling of Essex history you might not have heard before!
Costume Contest at The Barn Door Tavern! Dress to impress—there will be prizes for scariest, most innovative, best kids' costume, and more!
